| SVR
(Symposium on Virtual and Augmented Reality) is the major
conference in VR and AR in Brazil sponsored by SBC (The Brazilian
Computing Society). SVR brings together researchers, practitioners,
students and other professionals from academic, industrial and
commercial areas interested in the advances and applications of Virtual
and augmented Reality. After the first ten events, which took place in São Carlos (1997), Marília (1999), Gramado (2000), Florianópolis (2001), Fortaleza (2002), Ribeirão Preto (2003), São Paulo (2004), Belem (2006), Petrópolis (2007) and João Pessoa(PB), the 11st SVR will be held in Porto Alegre. The planned activities for SVR include a pre-symposium with minicourses, keynote speakers, technical minicourses and technical sessions. |
