Augmented Reality Supporting Tool for Blind People

Based on augmented reality techniques we have developed a software to help blind people to find places and objects using an smartphone.

The software captures an image using the smartphone camera, recognizes special tags placed in the environment and creates audible messages to the user, helping him to find the objects or places he want.
